Aerospace Structures and Aeroelasticity

Research Vision

I investigate the mechanics, design, and experimental validation of advanced aerospace structures by integrating nonlinear aeroelasticity, structural dynamics, composite materials, mechanical metamaterials, additive manufacturing, and wind-tunnel testing.

Advancing aerospace structures through nonlinear aeroelasticity, structural dynamics, composite materials, mechanical metamaterials, and wind-tunnel experimentation.

Research Areas

  • Nonlinear aeroelasticity and highly flexible wings
  • Flutter mechanism diagnosis and aeroelastic tailoring
  • Structural dynamics and vibration control
  • Composite and morphing structures
  • Aerospace mechanical metamaterials
  • Additively manufactured wind-tunnel models
