Awards

Best Presentation Award in Aerospace Numerical Simulation Technology

Selected in 2026; award ceremony and invited award presentation planned for 2027
58th Fluid Dynamics Conference / 44th Aerospace Numerical Simulation Symposium
FDC/ANSS 2026

Selected as the best presentation in the Aerospace Numerical Simulation Technology category for the presentation:

“Spatial Mapping of Flutter Excitation and Dissipation Based on Aerodynamic Component Decomposition in Potential Flow”

The research develops a spatially resolved aerodynamic-work diagnostic framework by decomposing potential-flow aerodynamic forces into their underlying mechanical contributions. The resulting energy maps identify the regions and mechanisms that drive or dissipate flutter, providing a physics-based basis for flutter diagnosis and aeroelastic tailoring.

The award ceremony and award presentation are planned to be held during the next FDC/ANSS conference, scheduled for June 30–July 2, 2027, in Tokyo.
